The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala, is expected to release the Kerala Plus Two SAY (Save A Year) / Improvement Result 2026 shortly. Students who appeared for the supplementary examinations conducted by DHSE will be able to access their provisional scorecards through the official result portals after the result link is activated.The SAY / Improvement examinations were conducted for students who wanted to improve their marks or clear failed subjects to continue their academic progression. The theory examinations were held from June 29 to July 3, 2026, following the practical examinations conducted on June 11 and June 12, 2026.How to check the result once releasedStudents can check their provisional results through the Kerala HSE Result Portal by selecting the HSE SAY / Improvement Examination 2026 Result link. They need to enter their Registration Number and Date of Birth to access the scorecard. After submitting the details, students can view and download their provisional marks memo.The result link will also be available through KITE Kerala Results and Kerala Results NIC portals. Students facing difficulty accessing websites due to heavy traffic can use the official PRD LIVE and Saphalam mobile applications. Revised scorecards will also be made available through DigiLocker. The final hard-copy mark sheet will be issued by respective schools.Timeline of Kerala Plus Two SAY examination cycleThe regular Kerala Plus Two board examinations were conducted from March 6 to March 28, 2026, and the results were announced on May 26, 2026. Students were allowed to register for the SAY / Improvement examinations from June 1 to June 3, 2026. The hall tickets for the supplementary examinations were released on June 26, 2026.Board examination performance detailsThe March 2026 Plus Two board examinations saw 4,52,437 students appearing across Kerala. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 77.97%, showing a marginal rise from 77.81% in the previous year. A total of 30,561 students secured A+ grades in all subjects.Among the streams, Science recorded the highest pass percentage at 84.52%, followed by Commerce at 74.74% and Humanities at 66.38%. Humanities had the highest share of students appearing for the SAY examinations after the stream recorded a failure rate exceeding 33%.Stream and district-wise performance dataFemale students recorded an 86.89% pass percentage, while male students registered 68.41%. Idukki emerged as the district with the highest overall passing average, while Kasaragod recorded the lowest general percentage and saw increased supplementary examination participation.Passing criteria for SAY resultStudents must secure a minimum of 30% marks in an individual theory paper to clear the subject through the SAY examination. Those who score below a D+ grade, which includes marks between 30 and 39, will not meet the eligibility requirements for higher education admission channels.
