KEA Land Surveyor recruitment 2026: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the last date to apply for the Land Surveyor recruitment examination following a revision to the minimum educational qualifications for the post. Candidates can now submit online applications until August 20, while the last date for payment of the application fee is August 21.The decision was announced through an official notification issued on August 5 after the Department of Land Revenue System and Land Records requested changes to the prescribed eligibility criteria. The recruitment drive, notified on July 11, aims to fill 560 Land Surveyor vacancies.Educational qualification revisedAccording to the revised notification, candidates possessing an engineering or technology degree from a recognised university, or an Associate Member of Engineers (AME) qualification in any branch of engineering or technology, are eligible to apply.Eligibility has also been expanded to include candidates holding a Bachelor of Science degree in disciplines such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Communication, Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Forestry and Sericulture, provided they have studied Mathematics or Physics during the course. Candidates with B.Sc (Honours) degrees are also eligible.In addition, diploma holders in any branch of engineering or technology from institutions recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) can apply for the recruitment.KEA Land Surveyor recruitment 2026: Application schedule revised
