KEA releases KSP Civil Police Constable hall ticket 2026 for 3,991 posts examination

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the hall ticket for the Karnataka State Police (KSP) Civil Police Constable Written Competitive Examination 2026. Candidates who have successfully registered for the recruitment process can download their admission tickets from the official KEA examination portal.The written examination is scheduled to be conducted across Karnataka on August 2, 2026, for filling 3,991 Civil Police Constable posts. Candidates who qualified the Mandatory Kannada Language Test conducted on July 19, 2026, are eligible to appear for the written examination.Hall ticket download processCandidates can access the KEA KSP Civil Police Constable hall ticket by visiting the official examination portal. To download the admit card, applicants need to select the Civil Police Constable – RPC 2026 examination option and enter their application number or enrolment ID.Candidates must also provide the first four letters of their name exactly as mentioned in the application form, enter the security captcha and submit the details. The hall ticket will appear on the screen after successful verification. Candidates should download and take a clear printout of the admit card for the examination day.Exam schedule and vacancy detailsThe written examination will be conducted in two sessions based on cadre classification. Candidates applying for the Residual Parent Cadre, which includes General/Mikkilida vacancies, will appear in the morning session from 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon. The Kalyana Karnataka Cadre under Article 371-J will conduct the examination from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM.Out of the total 3,991 vacancies, 3,395 posts are available under the Residual Parent Cadre, while 596 posts are reserved under the Kalyana Karnataka Cadre.Exam pattern and selection stagesThe written examination will be conducted in offline mode using OMR-based answer sheets. The paper will carry 100 marks, and candidates will get 90 minutes to complete the examination. A negative marking scheme will apply, with 0.25 marks deducted for every incorrect answer.The selection process includes the written examination followed by Physical Standard Test (PST) and Endurance Test (ET) for candidates shortlisted based on the written examination cutoff. KEA will shortlist candidates for the physical tests in a 1:2 ratio.Recruitment timeline and physical requirementsThe official notification for the recruitment was released on June 5, 2026, and the online application process began on June 8. The last date for submitting applications was extended to July 8, followed by the application correction window from July 10 to July 13. The hall ticket for the Mandatory Kannada Language Test was issued on July 17, and the test was conducted on July 19.A total of 3,90,715 candidates have registered for the recruitment cycle, resulting in competition of around 98 candidates per vacancy.Candidates appearing for the physical tests after clearing the written examination must meet the prescribed standards. General male and ex-servicemen candidates require a minimum height of 168 cm and chest measurement of 86 cm with a 5 cm expansion. Female and third-gender candidates require a minimum height of 157 cm and weight of 45 kg. Candidates from tribal areas in Karnataka forest regions have separate requirements, with minimum height criteria of 155 cm for males and 150 cm for females.
